![]() Use Blizzard magic to extinguish all four candles to unlock the chest, and open it for a Defense Up. In front of the Item Shop is a little cafe/bar area with several tables and a locked chest. This sequence happens after sealing the Keyhole in Deep Jungle. The top route leads to Wonderland, our next destination, while the bottom route leads to Olympus Coliseum. You have two route choices out of Traverse Town. Put a Thunder-G on there if you need some offense. This creates the fastest gummi ship you can make right now. Speedrun: Pop into the Garage and build a ship with only a Cure-G and a Fire-G. (This is the model your ship, the Highwind, is based on.) For the bulk of the game, however, you are fine to just use the standard Kingdom model gummi ship. There is a page later on in the walkthrough, KH1: Gummi, where I go a bit more in-depth on Gummi ships, including tips on how to complete Gummi Ship Missions. Leave Traverse Town through the large doors in the First District whenever you are ready for a tutorial on Gummi Ships. You likely don't have enough munny to purchase them all, so for now, simply buy the Morning Star and the Smasher. There are two new weapons available for each of them. Each World's page will have a section at the end for collecting Trinities, and this information is also present in the KH1: Jiminy's Journal page of the Walkthrough.įinally, you can purchase better weapons for Donald and Goofy in the Item Shop. Viewing this scene also adds a Trinity List entry in the Journal. These come in five colors: Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, and White. Leon, Yuffie, and Aerith are standing over by the Item Shop, you can speak to them again for some new dialogue, and on your way you will most likely view the scene for Trinity Marks. There are 57 Heartless types, and you have fought four of them so far. The Heartless tab features entries on every Heartless enemy in the game. Characters 1 features important characters like Sora, Donald, and Goofy, while Characters 2 lists side characters like Jiminy himself. The Characters tab is a little more involved. The Chronicles tab only has one entry, Sora's Story. The Journal currently has two categories: Chronicles and Characters. You can still finish the game in under 15 hours without it. It is recommended that you Dodge Roll everywhere, but by no means is it necessary. Speedrun: The Dodge Roll is noticeably faster than running. ![]() When you leave the shop, Sora finally meets Leon. Enter the Accessory Shop and speak with Cid, then use the save point. Move through here back to the First District, where Heartless also appear. ![]() Use the nearby door to return to the Second District. Jump down from here to find another Potion in a chest behind some crates. There is a chest here that holds a Pretty Stone. Jump across the balconies to the blue door, and look over the balcony by turning the camera with. There is a chest with a Potion at the far end, by where you entered. ![]() If you jump up onto the red roof by the banners, you can access the balconies of the different Hotel rooms. There are another few waves of Heartless here. Pass through each empty room until you exit to the Alleyway. Jump down to the ground and turn to the left. You'll be on a balcony with a ladder that Sora can't climb. ![]() You can fight them all, or simply run to the other side of the room and exit. Right now there are only Shadows, but as the game progresses more enemy types will appear. The inside of the Gizmo Shop features multiple waves of enemies in a small area. Turn left and head up the stairs, fighting more enemies. Walk down the hallway until you get to the end and exit back to the Second District. There will be a quick scene with Donald and Goofy. After defeating them, head to the left and enter the Hotel. However, you only need to defeat 5 Heartless for him to show up at the Accessory Shop.Ī group of Shadows will immediately attack. Speedrun: The game wants you to explore Traverse Town before you can find Leon. ![]()
